phpMiX software is Open Source released under the GNU General Public License v2, unless otherwise stated.
A copy of the license the software is distributed under can be viewed online in the download section. You should agree to the license before downloading the software.
phpMiX respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us.
Copyright notices shall NOT be removed from the source code. Doing so is breaking the license terms the software is distributed under.
In addition to legal requirements, we request our users to retain any copyright notices placed on visible areas, unless otherwise stated. Said notices should be planinly visible and not hidden in the background color, etc.
phpMiX extends the previous rule to any other software used by its users who's original authors request a similar rule (examples: phpBB, mxBB-Portal). Users could remove such notices when original authors don't explicitly request their users to keep them, however.
Users who remove (or fail to display on their own sites) above mentioned notices will receive no support from this site. We also encourage others not to give them support.
Users found adding copyrights back for a short period and then removing them after obtaining support will find that future aid will not be given.
Please, do not redistribute phpMiX software without our written permission. Instead, please link to this site (or other authorized sites, such as the official phpBB MODs database, etc.). This is required to prevent users from running out dated software, where security issues might be involved. Thanks
